EastWorld Foda should be rated one of the best groups from Busoga after scooping four PAM Awards last year. And now, the group is back with a fine touch-us-if-you-dare new album titled Kanembeya. The album is a big leap forward for the EastWorld Foda boys. They have slammed some cool vibes that can stir you, right from the first track.
This can be attributed to:
- Breaking away from predictable music.
- Being rhythmically diverse with the main formula being groove-oriented Afro pop music based on songs with hooky melodies and substance rather than image and hype. The top-banging joint is the title track Kanambeya.
-
On the track, Eastworld Foda reveal what the sisters in Busoga do to win over their hubbies’ hearts, trapping a rare small bird called Kanembeya and cooking it for him, or plucking its feathers, burning and sprinkling the ashes into his tea.

In Tugabibye (Let’s dance) the boys sing with a sense of fun, sometimes being melodramatic.
