SIR — Your article “Kisenyi burnt†published on Tuesday contains some errors.
The Fire brigade dispatched trucks at 11:12pm, two minutes after the emergency call and not at around 1:00am as reported. The first two trucks reached the scene at 11.19pm and four more followed shortly afterwards.
Despite the many encumbrances which included restricted access to the structures under threat, the fire fighting teams bravely fought the fire for over five hours and saved many wooden structures containing maize mills.
