MUKWANO Group of Companies is to manufacture energy-giving drinks, which are suitable alternatives for the energy biscuits which the Government imports from South Africa for the army.

MUKWANO Group of Companies is to manufacture energy-giving drinks, which are suitable alternatives for the energy biscuits which the Government imports from South Africa for the army.
The chief executive officer, Ibnul Hasan Risvi said recently that the drink dubbed ‘Kyekyo Drink’ contains food nutrients which can keep a person satisfied for about five hours.
“After one has taken our energy drink, he can stay without food for between four and five hours.
“It is good for every one including me and you,†he said recently.
The drink will be manufactured at Mukwano’s newly-constructed subsidiary factory located on 8th Street Industrial Area.
Risvi said the army, police and ordinary people could use the drink, expected on the market soon.

Like the energy boosting biscuits, he said the drink is to be manufactured basing on South African-developed technology.
The chief executive said they would use corn as the basic raw material for the drink, which boosts a person’s psychological and physical being.
