COURT has ordered the former lawyers of the Middle North Agencies Ltd to produce the original copies through which their client allegedly withdrew interest in an industrial plot in Nakawa to General Parts (U) Ltd.

COURT has ordered the former lawyers of the Middle North Agencies Ltd to produce the original copies through which their client allegedly withdrew interest in an industrial plot in Nakawa to General Parts (U) Ltd. Florence Nakaayi reports that the order on Wednesday followed a prayer by State prosecutor Vincent Opyene that the company’s former lawyers, Katongole and Mukasa Company Advocates, produce the original documents indicating that Middle North withdrew its interest in the property in dispute in 1989. Arthur Johnson Katongole, formerly practising under Katongole and Mukasa, was appearing before magistrate J.B. Byarugabaha as a defence witness.
