KAMPALA – When Jessica Nyirampano, mother to 13-year-old Pius Kamanzi, came to the New Vision a month ago, it was to salvage her stranded son’s education. Marc Roelandts of Vienna College did not only offered Kamanzi a bursary at the college from S1-S6 worth over $7,200, but also promised to assist his tertiary studies.

Bishop irked
MPIGI – Central Buganda diocesan bishop Rev. Jackson Matovu has criticised parents for neglecting their UPE roles. Matovu said most parents left government to suffer UPE burdens by failing to avail children with necessities including lunch and uniforms. He was closing a diocesan staff retreat in Nswanjeru.

LUWERO – Education and Sports minister Khidu Makubuya has said that more career guidance is needed to enable students make relevant subject choices.
