It is the latest addition to his Imperial Group of Hotels but by far the biggest and most pricey.
Property man Karim Hirji just got the veil off Imperial Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe. The massive five-storey structure, over looking Imperial Resort Beach was first opened for the high-profile International Women Judges Conference and most recently, the ADB Governors Conference.
Scouts who have taken a sneak-peek say the hotel has eight state-of-the-art conference halls including a 1200-seater one! Four more are still under construction.
There is also a spacious cinema hall, 188 sound proof rooms, five executive suites and one presidential suite named M7 after President Museveni. And, snoops say, if you need to rent it, be ready to cough up $750 a night or settle for an ordinary one at $180.
Now we know why the president had a smile on his face after a guided tour of the complex by Hirji himself and right hand man Veluppillai Kananathan.
