KAMPALA CITY Council deserves credit for all the effort it has put into easing traffic flow. The newly created one-way roads have brought some relief, but this may at best be only temporary.
KAMPALA CITY Council deserves credit for all the effort it has put into easing traffic flow. The newly created one-way roads have brought some relief, but this may at best be only temporary.
One-way roads can be complemented by the construction of flyovers and intersections. Flyovers would, in effect, create more roads while intersections would ease traffic snarl-ups at busy points. Both would be infinitely more expensive, but it is within KCC’s rights to press the central government to release funds for these projects that were budgeted for more than a year ago.
