Cornelius Kodet, a prominent Karimojong businessman and elder, said they would remind Museveni about the unfulfilled promises the Government had made towards the region.
He said the Government had promised to extend electricity from Muyembe in Sironko district to Nakapiripirit, and that another line was expected from Opuyo in Soroti to Moroto, while a third line was to be extended from Corner Kilak in Kitgum district to Kotido.
“We have seen Museveni implement a number of pledges. We are therefore sure that he will do something about electricity in Karamoja region,†Kodet said.
