MASAKA Muslim leaders have vowed to take action against Hajji Bruhan Katale for taking the Vice-President into his shrine.

Prof. Gilbert Bukenya visited Katale’s shrine at Kassewalaga in Bukoto East last week.
The district Kadhi, Sheikh Huzairu Kiruuta, said the College of Sheikhs would discuss the matter.

The municipality Muslim leader, Sheikh Twaha Bugembe, told a press conference at his office that they had earlier warned Katale over the traditional practices.
He said Katale had apologised about the practices but had not abandoned them.

Speaking on Radio Equator on Saturday, Katale said he would join a born-again Church if Muslims ex-communicated him.
