Uganda will not develop with everyone talking and dreaming politics only

SIR— As a person who has for long been studying Uganda’s history, I am disappointed that the life and heart of our country rotate around politics.
SIR— As a person who has for long been studying Uganda’s history, I am disappointed that the life and heart of our country rotate around politics. Most institutions in the country seem to bog down government policies with politics.
Uganda has so many problems that can be addressed and solved if they are given the due attention and time spent on politics.
Poverty, ignorance and disease are so appalling in the country but they are given a second thought in favour of politics.
The best way to attain development is not to let politics set the agenda. It should rather rank second last on our scale of preference if Uganda is to go forward.
