A TOTAL of 64 Ugandans are to be repatriated back home by the Sudan government in response to the Amnesty Law.
An Amnesty Commission official, Ganyana Miiro, who was in Juba, said the repatriation was facilitated by the donor community and the Sudan government.
He said the Ugandans, including Brig. Ismail Amouri, belonged to various rebel groups such as the West Nile Bank Front and the Uganda National Rescue Front.
He said the exercise would consolidate peace in both countries. He said his delegation met the governor of Bahr El Jebel state, Maj. Gen Clement Wani Konga, to discuss further cooperation.
