Peter Mwesige, Jackie Asiimwe now married!

FORMER New Vision political editor, Peter Mwesige, married his long-time girlfriend, Jackie Asiimwe, a lawyer previously with FIDA, Uganda. The couple wedded in a low-key ceremony in Perryman, Maryland, USA on December 22. The presiding priest was a Ugandan, Rev. Stephen Bamutungire, chaplain of St. George's Episcopal Church. Guests included Peter's compatriots at the Crusader, George Lugalambi (bestman), Dismus Nkunda and Vukoni Lupa Lasaga. Several Ugandans were part of the 40 guests who attended the reception.
