SIR—The decision by Denmark to reduce aid to Uganda is unfortunate. There are ongoing projects funded by DANIDA, which are going to be affected. Furthermore, the reasons given for reducing this assistance don’t sound convincing.
SIR—The decision by Denmark to reduce aid to Uganda is unfortunate. There are ongoing projects funded by DANIDA, which are going to be affected. Furthermore, the reasons given for reducing this assistance don’t sound convincing. Uganda is not under a dictatorship otherwise people would not be opposing the NRM from within as they are doing now. Denmark has up to now failed to distinguish trade between Ugandans and Congolese on one hand and looting by few individuals in the army. This is regrettable. E.F. KahumaFort Portal
