By Fred KaweesiEVERY nation dreaming of international glory opts for a talisman with whom they place the bulk of their hopes.Few will carry the burden more than German trained tactician Paul Hasule (picture above) who promises to lead a Crane’s revival that should see them storm the next African Cup of Nations and probably try a slot at the World Cup.The coach has started by focussing on the right selection of playing staff.“Coaching the national side is inspirational and a great honour so when I was offered the job, I didn’t have to think twice”, said the one time national player and coach.“Its my second return to the side, a great experience and am really itching for glory this time. I will select a team I think can match the altitude and at this stage, I don’t have to be convinced, what I know is each player in all the clubs stands a great chance. “Unlike Hasule, who relies on intuition, Jimmy Muguwa, his deputy, is something of a football scientist who revealed he spent the past few years collecting badges.“I have got the B-license from German and the only one left is a diploma.“I was a bank accountant four years ago and there is no way I could have picked up that profession without the basics. It’s the same with football,” he said.Ends
