Jinja mob lynches suspect

By Moses NampalaAN ANGRY mob on Monday morning lynched an unidentified suspected thief using big sticks, and sharp stones.The deceased was reportedly found escaping with a bunch of matooke, after forcing his way into the market earlier.The market guard shot him in the back with an arrow. Angry traders reportedly beat the suspect to death.The Jinja district officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department, Hillary Odoch, said the identity of the deceased had not yet been established.
