All roads today lead to the traditional county of Kooki in Rakai for the annual bulungi bwa nsi ceremony to be attended by the Buganda royal couple.
Bulungi bwa nsi, community work, was one of the major ways the Buganda kingdom put up road infrastructure.
The day is annually celebrated in one of the 18 traditional counties in Buganda to ensure that each area benefits from the programmes conducted that day.
Projects to benefit the Bakooki include the Send-a -Goat project.
Others are the launching of a revolving fund and the Kayayumbe Self-Help-Project.
