They should have been given orientation lessons before they were let loose into Kampala’s night scene.
At the MUK Fresher’s Ball at Silk Royale last Thursday, many freshers from far-flung provinces stormed the club and were more than overwhelmed by the experience of setting foot in Silk Royale, a place they had only previously read about in the papers.
Many of them especially the girls from Kabale, spent most of their time in the club not dancing, but gazing up at the flashing lights and shaking their heads as they drooled over the dance antics of their Kampala counterparts. The boys on the other hand were taken in by the beauties that they drank themselves into a stupor, and it was not even midnight yet!
