Abbas Kaawaase and Michael Okiror have been named on FUFA’s sponsorship and marketing committee, reports Norman Katende.The trio, all former presidential candidates in the December FUFA race were Dennis Obua bounced back, were released by FUFA assistant general secretary Zubairi Galiwango after the first executive meeting at Nakulabye.“We are bringing faces that will work for the development of football,” he said.Other members on the committee are FUFA treasurer Patrick Isiagi and Villa’s Andrew Zimmwe Kassagga.FUFA vice chairman Godfrey Kwizera retained his post as National Football League Committee (NFLC) boss but his assistant, Livingstone Lajan stood down for Chris Kalibala. “No one has forced me to stand down. I just wanted some change in the committee,” said Lajan after the meeting.Justus Mugisha replaced Raphael Ouma as NFLC secretary while Anthony Kimuli replaced Patrick Isiagi to the treasurer’s post.Others on the committee are Yusuf Kyeyune ‘Chuni’, Luyimbazi Mugalu, Kassim Buyondo and Sande Manara.FUFA vice chairman technical John Ssemanobe replaced Polly Ouma as technical committee boss with Crispus Muyinda as his vice. Timothy Ayiekho, Asuman Lubowa, Ashe Mukasa and one Ssekabembe are committee members.Alfred Mawa chairs finance, Kigongo Bukenya referees committee, Stanley Kinene in-charge of youth and women and Haruna Mawanda for legal affairs.ends
