By Charles Ariko“WHEN I cried, I was crying for my sins not for this office. I was making a sincere confession. I am a human being. Remember even in the Bible, Jesus wept,” Ziritwawula said yesterday in reference to the tears he publicly shed last week.He was yesterday speaking at a ceremony to hand over the office to the new chairman, Charles Serunjogi. He said when he contested for the mayoral seat, he had already decided not to run for the Kampala Central Division seat.He amused the audience when he said, “Today, I am not crying. I am a man used to suffering and failing. It is not the first time.”He said the media was making fun of his crying. “Those who attended the meeting, got it right and put it correctly. If you are to help democracy grow, try not to be negative,” he said.Ends
