Bishop Cautions Girls On Abortions

THE Bishop of Lugazi Diocese, Matiya Ssekamanya, has advised girls to resist from conniving with their mothers to carry out abortions because it would jeopardise their lives.

He was speaking at St. Joseph Secondary School Naggalama, at the School’s Saints Day celebrations. Ssekamanya said girls who get pregnant should be allowed to resume studies after giving birth rather than putting their life in danger due to abortions.He officially opened the girls’ dormitory constructed with funds from the parents at a cost of sh45m.The function was preceded by a Mass led by Ssekamanya.Ends
