SIR— Many of us in the US are concerned that wildlife trade has been re-opened in Uganda.
SIR— Many of us in the US are concerned that wildlife trade has been re-opened in Uganda. The export quotas for 1,800 vervet monkeys and 2,700 olive baboons is unjust and will cause undue hardship and innumerable deaths to these primates for no good reason. Your wildlife should remain legally protected so tourists will continue to visit and enjoy your country’s natural beauty and amazing wildlife. This is 2002! Lisa, USA
