SIR— I was often on holiday in Uganda between 1996 and 2000 and I used to enjoy the many live international artistes who used to come.

I watched several shows there of Lucky Dube, Shaka Demus and Pliers, Shaggy and others. Since then, there are no big artistes coming there. What’s up? Where are the promoters?
