KRFUC For Big Drive

By Ronnie Kintu KAMPALA Rugby Football Union Club (KRFUC) will be the place to be next week, when Uganda takes another step towards continental recognition.The club hosts the inaugural Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) and International Rugby Board (IRB) second tier match between Uganda and Cameroon on September 7.Richard Ssewakiryanga, the chairman for the union, revealed that they have got a £10,000 boost from CAR/IRB for the whole tournament, and the union is in need of an extra sh20m to host the event successfully.“This will be a historic event in the development of Uganda rugby and will boost the progress of the sport in the country. KRFUC will work hand in hand with URFU to ensure efficiency,” Ssewakiryanga said.Ends
