Bushenyi local government has completed a three storey block worth sh2b to accommodate offices which were temporary housed at the district headquarters.
Engineer Kiiza Mbonimpa said the block commonly known as ‘Nyaruju’ will accommodate 76 offices, council chambers and a boardroom.
Mbonimpa said the sh2b was locally raised revenue.
The former LC5 chairman, Yowasi Makaru, started Nyaruju in 1995.
Makaru retired after serving for 13 years.
Recently, the district council named Mbarara-Ishaka high way Nyaruju after Makaaru. Ends
