IGANGA — A youth councillor has been charged with possession of counterfeit US$800 (about sh1.48m). Eria Kagoda, 32, of Bulamagi sub-county, was also found in possession of special pieces of papers used in making Ugandan currency. He appeared before the chief magistrate’s court in Jinja and denied the charges.
