MBOGO face Ngonge today, determined to get a win that will drive them towards another Bika Cup victory since 1952, when they picked the inaugural shield.
Mbogo, who were knocked out at the quarterfinal by eventual champions Lugave in last year’s edition, will be walking to the field today, determined to end the fifty year absence of the shield at their shelf.
The opening match of the 27th edition Bika Football tournament will be graced by Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II at Nakivubo.
KCC’s Badru Ssenkayi, whose hat-trick helped them down Kiwere last year, will combine with SCOUL’s Siraje Lwere, Davis Kasibante and Med Mawejje to see that they stay on course for a second trophy.
