By James Bakama COACH Eddie May is seriously plotting to re-instate Express to the helm of Ugandan soccer. The Englishman underlined his intentions yesterday: "I am an ambitious man and will be aiming for the trophy." That he has conjured up ten wins against only three losses in the three months he has been in charge, signals a warning. But he is cautious when it gets to rating the Wankulukuku side as a favourite- a tag he says should go to champions SC Villa. "They are a bigger threat than KCC." To ensure that he is not ambushed if his side is to kick-off the League with the champs, May made it a point to attend Villa vs Police friendly yesterday. His task is to end a league drought that dates back to 1996. The Englishman is stressing discipline especially regarding the club's attitude towards training. Time keeping , a forgotten virtue at Express since Popadic's departure, is now a prerequisite. The professional touch stretches to the training proper. Here, some club fanatics previously used to training sessions dominated by eleven-aside games, are not happy. They have been grumbling about the 45 minutes May allots to the eleven-aside. But May argues "It does not pay to have training matches every day." He instead favours ball-passing drills involving small groups. "These improve your passing and ball control." There have also been whispers of May running a one-man's show on the bench after the resignation of Kennedy Lubogo. But May thinks that at the end of the day there can only be one man in charge of the club's results. He insists that what matters at the moment is moulding a winning side. He is full of praise for two players. "Mubiru is very good in the box. I am currently working on his game outside the box." He has even more praises for Bironse. "He reminds me of a European center back. He is quick and takes no chances." Ends
