6 crew for treasure hunt

SIX teams including a ladies crew have entered the second UMOSPOC treasure hunt scheduled for November 3.

By Douglas Mazune SIX teams including a ladies crew have entered the second UMOSPOC treasure hunt scheduled for November 3. Arch, Italian ladies, Wovering, Head Master, Kis-may and Songonuts teams yesterday entered the event that is part of UMOSPOC’s end of year celebrations. Kuku Ranjit will lead the Songonuts, renowned navigator James Opoka will steer the Arch team while Kampala Junior Academy headmaster Polly Kalagala entered the Headmaster team. Kisitu Mayanja of Kis-May team will be alone on a motorcycle while Giovanni ‘Italiano’ Storchi’s wife will head the Italian ladies team in a Nissan Patro. The clerk of course Dipu Ruparelia said the winner would take home sh0.2m. The first leg will cover upper Nakasero, Buganda Rd, Kololo and Lugogo. On the second leg, competitors will look for hidden treasures in Kansanga, Kabalagala, Kibuli, Industrial area, Ntinda and Ramgharia Sikh Sports club where the event will end. ends
