Second Economic and Financial Management Project Position: Professional Auditor (Consultant) The Government of Uganda (GOU) has acquired an IDA credit, which it intends to apply through the Second Economic and Financial Management Project (EFMP II) to improve public expenditure management. In anticipation of the implementation of an Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMS) in the Government of Uganda, the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) is seeking to recruit a professionally qualified auditor with at least seven (7) years, professional experience in design, implementation and auditing financial management systems, preferably in the public sector. The successful applicant will carry out capacity building activities that will be necessary to strengthen quality assurance arrangements in the area of Computer Auditing and Evaluation of financial management systems throughout all sections/divisions of the OAG. An annual renewable contract to a maximum of three (3) years will be offered to the successful candidate. Remuneration is commensurate with terms and conditions for professionally qualified auditors of this level.
