Two Uganda cricket children’s teams were among 24 from East Africa that participated in the Obuya Trophy tournament in Nairobi August 12-.29.
Two Uganda cricket children’s teams were among 24 from East Africa that participated in the Obuya Trophy tournament in Nairobi August 12-.29. The Ugandan sides, an initiative of Best of Cricket Uganda (BCIU) club, took part in the U-15 and U-13 categories. The U-13s lifted the trophy while the U-15s reached the quarterfinals. Over 50 kids trained with BCIU under coach Robinson Turinawe with Mohamed N. Vaheed as a manager
