DURING the ninth annual Pearl of Africa Music (PAM) awards that ended last month, with Iryn Namubiru walking away with the top accolade at Lugogo UMA show ground, it was good to see singer Mathias Walukagga make up with petroleum jelly businessman, Salongo ‘Samona’ Kasawuli.

Kasawuli had last year had Walukaga thrown behind bars for defamation in the song Katuleppuke.

At Lugogo, the two seemed to have put their differences aside – the differences apparently had everything to do with a woman, so much so that Walukagga even dedicated his award for the best Kadongokamu artiste to Kasawuli.

However, this was ‘Kiwani.’ This week a snoop witnessed Mathias Walukaga refusing to use body smear commonly known as scrub while in a sauna on Namirembe Road, saying that it was from Samona.

Well, Walukaga was offered a tin of Afriscot to apply on his body and face, but before he agreed he said: ‘Make sure it is not made by Samona; I don’t use Samona products. When one of his sauna mates reminded him of the recent ‘make up’with Ksawuli at the PAM Awards; Walukaga simply said, ‘Forgive but never forget.
