Egypt friendly tie excites She Kobs

Uganda’s national women soccer team, She Kobs has welcomed a friendly tie with Egypt in Cairo next month as a perfect build up to the 8th Africa Women championship due in January.

Uganda’s national women soccer team, She Kobs has welcomed a friendly tie with Egypt in Cairo next month as a perfect build up to the 8th Africa Women championship due in January.
 
FUFA spokesman Roger Mulindwa said that the federation Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson and technical director Assuman Lubowa landed the invitation while in Moroco for the just concluded LC Cup. 
 
The She Kobs readily accepted an invitation by Egypt for the December 14 match which will enable the Ugandans to gauge their team ahead of the first leg of continental tie with DR Congo in Kinshasha on January 13-15.
 
She Kobs coach Majidah Nantanda was excited about the surprise trip to Egypt. 
 
“It’s a big opportunity which we have to utilize” Nantanda said.
 
A squad has been selected and will soon be invited for training December 1.
