Kensington messing up Kyanja access road

I write to draw your attention to an issue that has been perturbing residents of Kyanja for a while.

I write to draw your attention to an issue that has been perturbing residents of Kyanja for a while.

The ongoing construction works at the mighty Kensington apartments located in Kyanja have made our access road into Kyanja inaccessible due to the debris and mud heaps piled up right in the middle of the access road! The debris is piled onto the access road as if it is a personal yard of sorts.

This has become extremely inconveniencing and many residents have resorted to using ‘more friendly’ roads on the other side of Kyanja in order to get to their homes in one piece.

This situation is not helped by the current rainy season which has made the mud and debris spread all over the road. On more than one occasion, we have been inconvenienced by trucks parked in the middle of the road and a gate that is constantly open and prevents motorists from using the road.

Our pleas for a halt to this insensitivity have fallen on deaf ears. Many of the residents of Kyanja have worked hard to build their homes in a serene and clean environment. Unfortunately, this is being undermined by Kensington owners, staff or contractors.
