On January 3, 2018, Oguli referred the matter to the Constitutional Court for interpretation, saying the High Court has no power to handle it.
“This is a matter of constitutional interpretation and the High court has no powers to handle it," Justice Margaret Oguli-Oumo rules.
The suspended MPs, who include Gerald Karuhanga and Allan Ssewanyana, want court to declare the Speaker's decision unlawful and set it aside.
