Etiang started staying alone after separating from his wife, another reason to justify why rats took shelter in his home and multiplied in number.
In announcing the 1.5-million euro anti-rodent campaign, the mayor says the city will buy new traps for the rats.
“I can tell you that rats destroy up to 60% of health equipment in Africa,” Ssali said
"There are many rats here, and big ones."
