The first regional competition is expected to unlock huge potential in at least Kenya and Uganda as the two main baseball countries.
The event will be played in the U12, U14 and the open category
Currently,Ndejje High, Metha Secondary School, Kakira secondary school and St. Peters Nsambya have been introduced to the sport.
Ugandans have already started preparations at the Gayaza Baseball and Softball Stadium for the qualifiers.
