Entebbe International Airport came to a standstill on Thursday when the Kenyan Afro-pop stars Sauti Sol landed for the Club Mega Fest this Saturday.
The boy band comprises vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano and Savara Mudigi, who are expected to thrill fans at Sheraton Kampala Hotel.
One of their songs, Sura Yako, is a favourite to many Ugandans and is often played at weddings, introduction ceremonies and in night clubs.
Local musicians such as Maurice Kirya, Maddox, Sheebah, Navio and Mun-G will perform alongside Sauti Sol.
The band was received by Nile Breweries Brand Manager John Katete and they are set to hold a press conference Friday at the Sheraton.
This year, Club Mega Fest is going regional with the next show in Masaka town, following a successful show last year held at Kakindu Stadium with Nigerian artiste Timaya.
