Parliament resumes work after break

KAMPALA - The Ugandan parliament resumes  its duties Tuesday after a two-week break.

The House last sat on June 21 in a session chaired by the speaker, Rebecca Kadaga, before going into recess under unexplained circumstances.

Among the last issues to be discussed was of police brutality and a report on the security analysis of the country.

Speaker Kadaga is expected to preside over the sitting.
