The family of Prof. Lawrence Mukiibi is preparing to fly him to India for further treatment.

This was revealed by the eldest daughter Maria Mukiibi this morning at Norvik Hospital, where he is admitted.

"We want to fly him to India for further treatment," Mukiibi revealed.

She added that they were, however, advised by the doctors to first give him time for his health stabilize before he is flown out of the country.

"It's risky to put him on the plane since he's still weak. Give him time before you fly him," Dr. Ben Mulumba, one the doctors explained.

Right now Mukiibi has gained conscious and has started eating food.

Prof. Mukiibi, the proprietor of St. Lawrence Schools & Colleges, got involved in a car accident on Monday at Nabbingo along Masaka highway.
