EAGLES Nest boys have a big stake when they take on Buddo SS in the Sprite Schools basketball championships semifinals in Lira today.

Samson Opus writes that the former champions need victory to put aside the disappointment after their girls were thrown out of the competition for refusing to trim their hair as per the rules.
“I know it is going to be tough, but we are determined to win,” said Ken Kalungi, Eagles Nest coach.

Global forum launches today
PANATHLON International, a global forum that unites professionals and other stakeholders from various sports disciplines, will be launched in Uganda today at Imperial Royale Hotel.
The function will be presided over by State minister for sports Charles Bakkabulindi and the forum president Henriko Prandi will be in attendance. The organisation seeks to promote ethics and morality through youth sports.
