It is surprising that the LRA thugs who have maimed and tortured Ugandans for more than two decades are demanding cabinet posts and many other privileges! Did they go to the bush looking for cabinet posts? How can they continue fooling Ugandans like that?
Ugnada has a constitution which guides its affairs. It is silly for anyone to engage in such talk.
The peace talks should address genuine concerns of national interest but not individuals’ greed for cabinet posts. What is a cabinet post? Is it worth the lives that have been lost in the LRA’s senseless thugary? Ugandans should not be held at ransom by whoever wants ‘a share of the cake’. The LRA should be talking about how they should be forgiven by Ugandans in general and the people of northern Uganda in particular.
The trend of the so-called peace talks which ignores hard questions is the very foundation for the continued conflicts in Africa. The LRA are criminals and should humble themselves before Ugandans and ask for a second chance.
