BOSCO Kato defied all odds to register one of the biggest upsets of the Rio Insurance National Boxing Open yesterday. The Lukanga lightweight, trailing by 10 points by the end of the second round, clawed his way back to knock out favourite Sebastian Mukasa.

Kato charged in the third round, pummeling Mukasa with body shots that rocked the East Coast
fighter to the count.

East Coast was left in tears because the fight not only had a round left, but their pugilist was actually leading 22-17 by the time he succumbed.
