SUPER League table leaders Police could lose dependable defender Simeon Masaba to SC Villa in the ongoing mid-season transfers.
Masaba yesterday returned transfer forms indicating his intention to return to Villa park after three years at Police.
If Masaba’s move is effected, the cops’ squad will be dealt a major blow while Villa stands to gain substantial strength. After closure of transfers this evening, FUFA will set a date for clubs to formalise the process.
The creative Uganda Cranes’ right-back has twice scored in the league and has had a hand in many of his team’s goals.
Villa had earlier targeted Express striker Moses Aduni, whose move was blocked by FUFA because the striker holds a CAF license for Express.
The transfer market at FUFA House, Mengo, was busy yesterday with Maji’s Ediris Kaye moving to Victors while Kinyara’s Asuman Buyinza wants to switch to KCC.
