KAMPALA - Children around Kampala are rejoicing following the introduction of swimming lessons by local hip hop artiste Silas Sajjabbi Balabyekkubo.

Sajjabbi says many children have no access to sports facilities such as swimming, yet it is a lifesaving skill. He says sports is one of the 13-year strategy initiated by Bavubuka Foundation to reach out to the young people by providing them access and opportunity to learn the sport of swimming.

Ebru Pinar a Turkish-Canadian businesswoman, who is working with Sajjabbi under the Bavubuka Foundation noted that they want to make the orphans feel special and capable.
