KCCA FC travelled to Angola for their return leg in the CAF Champions League with high confidence after putting up an impressive performances in their last games.

The reigning league champions thrashed Lungujja Galaxy 6-1 to progress to the round of 16 of the FUFA Uganda Cup.

Derrick Nsibambi and Geoffrey Serunkuma scored a hattrick and double respectively before Tom Masiko who has just bounced back from injury added the other. This was Masiko's second goal in two days.

Although Lungujja Galaxy host their home games at the Uganda Martyrs High School Rubaga, both sides agreed to have the game played at Lugogo. Winners of the Uganda Cup represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup and Vipers are the cup holders.
