With just two games played so far this season, BUL FC’s 20-year-old Kenyan born striker Milton Kaliisa has set himself a target of 12 league goals this season .

The former JMC Hippos FC striker has netted an average of 8 league goals in his last two seasons at BUL FC but has set himself a target of improving his tally to 12 league goals this season despite being played on the right wing.

''I want to improve on my scoring this time and my target is to net 12 league goals and a couple more in the Uganda Cup'' said Kallisa.

Asked if he would play for the Kenyan national team, the pacy striker revealed that his dream is to play for Uganda.

‘‘It’s true I have Kenyan parents but I feel more privileged to play for the Uganda national team. I am trying to work on the Ugandan passport so that soon I can turn Ugandan and possibly earn a call to play for this privileged national team.

If I get the Ugandan passport, it will be my biggest dream to have that opportunity but great thanks to my club BUL FC who have given me a dream of playing football and also my mentor Mohamed Faisal who gave me an opportunity to play for the two Jinja clubs JMC Hippos FC and BUL FC,'' Kaliisa said.

BUL FC head coach Frank 'Video' Anyau revealed that Kaliisa's pace is so important to his team as he is one of the key pillars at the club.

The striker underlined his Super league status last season when he scored the club's lone goal in their famous 1-0 win over league champions KCCA FC at Kakindu Stadium last season.

He also netted in the club's 2-0 win over Express FC and the 2-1 away win at Vipers FC where he netted in stoppage time.

His blistering pace, dribbling and shooting power is a nightmare for many defences in the league.

After a 0-0 draw against Proline FC and a 1-1 at URA FC, 2 points is Kaliisa and his teammates have to build on when they next host Saints FC come September 6 at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja when the league resumes.
