JOSEPH Masembe, the brainchild of the campaign,‘Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green’, must have a lucky charm and blessings lately. Masembe early this week cared to whisper to whoever cared about his royal links.
This, after Tooro’s King Oyo gave his initiative a massive boost by accepting to plant trees with Uganda’s kids under the campaign of ‘Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green’.
The towering Masembe, corporate Ha-Heard has learnt, was gleeful that King Oyo has embraced the initiative and already planted trees with children at Kampala Parents School, Victorious Primary School , Kampala Junior Academy, City Parents, Namirembe Parents and Sanyu Babies’ Home. He heads to Fort Portal for similar campaign next month.
Masembe, also the brains behind the successful “My Child is a Superstar” fair last year, is organising a Royal Kids Fair at the KCCA Grounds this Sunday, and proceeds will go to the King Oyo Fund.
Certainly a win-win situation for all but the person sticking his tongue out is certainly Masembe. What a glee!
