44 students miss UNEB registration

According to Joseph Ecegem, the deputy headteacher of the school, the school does not know the whereabouts of the 44 students.

A total of 44 students from Soroti Secondary School in Soroti city have missed out in the just-concluded registration for the 2020 Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB).
Information obtained from the school administration indicates that of the 1,006 students that were present before COVID-19 lockdown, only 962 have appeared.
According to Joseph Ecegem, the deputy headteacher of the school, the school does not know the whereabouts of the 44 students.
He adds that, "30 of the 44 students are girls while 14 are boys." .
The deadline for UNEB registration was November 30.
