Kyagulanyi suspended campaigns on Tuesday following alleged clashes with the Police until the EC prevails over the situation.

The Electoral Commission has responded positively to a request by the National Unity Platform (NUP) flag bearer, Robert Kyagulanyi, to hold a meeting over what he termed an imbalanced campaign ground.

Kyagulanyi suspended campaigns on Tuesday following alleged clashes with the Police until the EC prevails over the situation.

He, therefore, requested to hold a meeting with the EC chairperson, Justice Simon Byabakama.

Kyagulanyi is expected at the EC head office today at 11:00am, and will be accompanied by a team of five persons.

After the meeting, the principals will update the media.

We shall keep you posted.
