Over 500 test positive for COVID-19

576 more people have tested positive for covid-19.  No death was recorded.

The Ministry of Health on Tuesday in a statement noted that the results of COVID-19 tests done on November 30, confirmed 576 new cases bringing the cumulative confirmed cases to 21,035.

The breakdown of the new cases are:

571 contacts and alerts: Kampala (234), Kabarole (27), Wakiso (43), Kasese (30), Mbarara (18), Jinja (18), Moyo (16), Buhweju (12), Lyantonde (17), Kamuli (13), Isingiro (11), Arua (12), Amuru (10), Kiruhura (7), Ngora (9), Kabale (8), Ntungamo (9), Kiryandongo (5), Ibanda (5), Kamwenge (4), Iganga (4), Adjumani (5), Rubirizi (4), Masindi (4), Rwampara (3), Gulu (5), Butebo (3), Pader (2), Kanungu (4), Terego (2), Zombo (2), Yumbe (3), Kazo (2), Rakai (5), Luwero (1), Sheema (1), Omoro (1), Kassanda (2), Soroti (1), Masaka (1), Koboko (1), Rukungiri (1), Mityana (2), Bushenyi (1), Mpigi (3)
